PARIS: French soldiers shot dead a man at Paris’ Orly airport on Saturday after he tried to grab a weapon.
According to a TV channel, the airport was evacuated following the incident.
French police confirmed that a security operation was in progress at the airport, south of the capital.
The man fled into a shop at the airport before he was shot dead, an interior ministry spokesman said.
No one was reported injured in the attack.
