KARACHI: Police arrested many including an important commander of Lyari gangwar Yasir Golden during its ongoing drive against criminal elements here. Over three dozens suspects were rounded up from PIB Colony while two street criminals were arrested from Kaharadar area and recovered arms, cash, and mobile phones from their possession.
According to details police conducted a search operation in Gul Muhammad Lane, Phool patti Lane, and Dubai Chowk areas od Lyari. According to SSP City the arrested Lyari gangwar commander Yasir Golden who was arrested exchange of fire is affiliated with Baba Ladla Group of Lyari gangwar. He was wanted in numerous cases and a hand grenade and arms were recovered from his possession.
Police sealed entry and exit routes of Nishtar Basti, PIB Colony and conducted search operation during which over three dozen suspects were arrested and a repeater, stolen motorcycle, and narcotics were recovered.
