Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday presided the party’s political committee meeting at his Bani Gala residence wherein no-trust motion including current political situation of the country were discussed.
The ruling PTI’s high level leadership and Federal Ministers were in attendance. A strategy to fail the opposition no-confidence motion deliberated upon while a consultation on the PTI’s D chowlk rally was held.
The meeting was also briefed about contacts with disgruntled party members headed by Jehangir Tareen group.
Talking to media after attending the meeting, interior minister Sheikh Rashid said that today National Assembly (NA) session called on March 25 was came under discussio.
The minister apprised that the session will be adjourned on March 25 and the no-confidence motion will be presented in the house after one week.
He also apprised that the progress on dissident members and Aleem Khan group were viewed.
