LAYYAH: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced to establish a medical college in Layyah.
Addressing a ceremony to distribute Honhaar Scholarship and Laptop in Layyah on Friday, she said that efforts are being made to ensure that no child is deprived of technology and education.
Maryam Nawaz said one hundred and ten billion rupees have been allocated for the uplift of Education sector, construction of class rooms and provision of missing facilities in educational institutions of the province.
She announced the grant of one point five billion rupees each for Layyah and Ghazi University Dera Ghazi Khan.
Earlier, she distributed Laptops and Scholarships among the students of Layyah.
