Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice-president Maryam Nawaz Wednesday once again approached Lahore High Court (LHC) for returning of her passport.
Maryam Nawaz filed the petition for giving back her passport through her counsel Amjad Pervez.
The petition adopted the view that her passport has been in custody of the court for four years, whereas, the National Accountability Bureau has not submitted the challan in the court in a case of Chaudhry Sugar Mill case.
The petition further apprised that the court approved her bail on the merit while no person can be deprived of his/her from basic rights for long adding that the cases of ex-president Pervez Musharraf and Ayan Ali are precedents of it.
The petition insisted the court that to issue orders for returning of her passport.
