Maryam Nawaz Grieved Over Tragic Death of Kaira’s Son

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz has expressed sorrow over the tragic death of PPP leader Qamar Zaman Kaira’s son in a road accident.

“Extremely saddened to hear the tragic news of the death of Kaira’s son. This is how unpredictable life is. My heart goes out to the family. May Allah SWT bless Usama with the highest abode in Jannah,” she wrote in her tweet.

Earlier today, the young son of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Qamar Zaman Kaira died in road accident in Lala Musa.

According to details, the son of the president of PPP of Punjab chapter Qamar Zaman Kaira, Usama was on his way when his car went out of control and hit to a tree that caused his death on the spot.

Kaira was addressing a press conference in the federal capital when he was informed of the tragic news and he immediately left for his residence in Lala Musa.

Usama was the student of Government College University Lahore.

Condolence messages poured in soon after news of the tragic event spread. PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari offered his condolences and said that he was “deeply saddened to hear the tragic news of [Kaira’s] young son”.

Prime Minister Imran Khan also expressed deep sorrow over the death of Kaira’s son and prayed that the deceased’s soul rests in peace. He also offered his condolences to the family and prayed that they bear the loss with fortitude.

Former president Asif Ali Zardari said that the “loss of a young child is unbearable” and prayed for the deceased. He assured that the “Bhutto family and the PPP stands by the Kaira family in this hour of grief”.

PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif also issued a condolence statement and prayed that the departed soul rests in eternal peace and that the bereaved family would be able bear the irreparable loss.

Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, in a statement, offered his condolences to Kaira and his family and “expressed his heartfelt grief on the sad demise of Osama Kaira”.

“May Allah gives strength to bereaved parents and family to bear this irreparable loss,” he said in a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations.
