Lahore: Senior Vice-President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and chief organiser of the Party Maryam Nawaz has decided to contest elections from Lahore.
Besides daughter of three-time premier Nawaz Sharif, ex-chief minister Hamza Shahbaz, son of existing premier also decided to compete elections from Lahore.
Both Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Shahbaz will submit their nominations papers. Hamza will submit his nominations papers for seats PP 146 and PP 147.
Meanwhile consultations are continued for which seat Maryam Nawaz will contest the elections.
On the other hand, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marium Aurangzaib has said to the party candidates to submit their applications till March 18 in the party secretariat 180 H, Model, Lahore.
In a tweet, she said the last date for submission of applications is March 18.

She said in line with the decision of the party, the candidates are once again informed to submit their applications as soon as possible.
