Lahore: The most composite transplant program strategy has been prepared in the history of the country in Punjab as CM Punjab transplant program has been started for common of the province.
On the other hand five transplant of the common man will be conducted free.
The transplants include liver transplantation, kidney transplantation, bone marrow transplant, transplantation of , cornea and cochlear implants will be conducted free.
To benefit from the Chief Minister transplant program registration is must on Punjab human organ transplantation authority.
After registration under the CM transplantation program liver, kidney, bone marrow, cornea transplant can be conducted.
Transplantation can be conducted from government hospitals as well as private hospitals.
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz regarding the program said that transplantation is a very complicated and is an expensive process and common man can’t afford this.
She said that now the state will fulfill this obligation.
After a cochlear implants children hearing will be restored and they will pass normal life, she said.
Maryam Nawaz all the expenses of liver and kidney transplant will be bored by the provincial government adding there will be no any burden on the patient.
After successful cornea transplant, the patient deprive of eye sight can be lived a normal life.
