Lahore (June 10, 2018): Maryam Nawaz, the daughter of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will contest the upcoming elections, the first of her political career, from the National Assembly constituency in Lahore NA-127.
According to the details, Tanveer Zia Butt, on the behalf of Maryam Nawaz, has submitted the nomination paper for NA-127 constituency in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

Earlier, Maryam Nawaz on Sunday said that she along with Hamza gave interview to the central parliamentary board as member for the ticket to contest upcoming polls.
In her tweet message, Maryam Nawaz said that she is so happy after giving the interview.

She said that parliamentary board of PML-N also interview, Shahbaz Sharif before awarding his ticket.

She further said that such practice is only being done in PML-N.
