KARACHI: The price of gold has reached a historic high worldwide, including in Pakistan.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola has risen by Rs.2,550, reaching the highest level of Rs.317,350. The price of 10 grams of gold in the country has also increased by Rs.2,186, now standing at Rs.272,076. According to the Association, the price of gold in the global market has increased by $25 reaching $3,022 per ounce.
