KARACHI: Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar on Tuesday inaugurated the newly-constructed OPD at Nazeer Hussain Memorial Kidney Centre.
Chandka Medical College has donated two dialysis machines to the Kidney Centre.
Talking to media, Akhtar said that an MQM MNA had got constructed the centre from his funds. He added that the construction of building was completed back in 2012, but it could d not be opened due to unavailability of staff.
He added that the children of political leaders went abroad for treatment but no government paid any attention on solution of masses’ problems.
He added that Karachi hospitals were in bad state like the roads for the last eight years.
He assured that the condition of roads, sewerage system, and schools would be improved gradually.
