KARACHI: Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar on Wednesday said that though he was elected as Mayor of the metropolitan but his hands were tied.
Talking to media during his visit to different schools at Tahir Villa in connecting with 100-day cleanliness drive, Akhtar said that Karachi was presenting destruction’s look for the last eight years.
He hailed the participation of school children in the cleanliness drive.
He said that they would engage school children and other segment of the society in the ongoing cleanliness campaign.
He said that the 100-day drive would have positive impact on the city. He said that it was the collective responsibility of every citizen to keep the city clean.
