Islamabad (December 07, 2017): The Mayor London Sadiq Khan has invited the Pakistani investors, students and tourists to come London as everybody was treated equally in London .
“I am proud of Pakistani origin British and as a citizen of Britain,” Mayor London said while talking to media after attending the Business forum in Islamabad.
He mentioned that he brought only one message, “London is open for everyone and the person who work had will progress there without any discrimination.”
“London is open to everyone; to Pakistanis, to businessmen and women, to those who want to study or invest.”
“London is the greatest city in the world and one of the reasons why i think so is that we respect each other, whether you are Muslim, Hindu, Jew or Christian,” Khan said.
“You are not simply tolerated [in London]. You are respected, celebrated and embraced.”

The mayor said that the “London promise” guarantees that “if you work hard, you are given a helping hand and can achieve anything.”
Talking on the occasion, federal minister for trade Pervez Malik has invited the British investors to invest in CPEC infrastructure and energy projects.
Mayor London will visit Karachi as last leg of his South Asian visit.
A day ago London Mayor Sadiq Khan reached Lahore on one-day visit to promote his ‘London is Open’ campaign here.
Khan reached the provincial capital from India via e Wagah Border Crossing.
Mayor Lahore Col (retd) Mubashar and senior government officials received the dignitary at Wagah border.
Khan was earlier in India for around four days where he held meetings with government officials, members of the civil society and entertainment industry.
