Islamabad: The citizens of Islamabad have completely rejected the proposal of 200% tax on property, water and sanitation bills by the Municipal Corporation Islamabad
Naib Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Mian Aslam said that the citizens of Islamabad have totally rejected the proposals of 200% tax in property, water and sanitation bills by the Municipal Corporation in Islamabad. Administrators and Bureaucrats don’t have the authority to decide in closed rooms and impose taxes on the people.
The leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami held a press conference against the proposals of 200% tax by the Municipal Corporation in Islamabad on property, water and sanitation bills. Naib Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Mian Aslam said that the citizens of Islamabad completely rejected this proposal, Jamaat-e-Islami will protest against this cruel decision of the MCI by taking people to the squares and intersections and will also approach the court against these unconstitutional and illegal proposalsMian Muhammad Aslam said that 46 industries including real estate will be affected by this unconstitutional, illegal and cruel decision of MCI. Jamaat-e-Islami has been present in the courts since 2019 against the implementation of local and illegal taxes, we will fight the battle for public rights on all fronts.
