Measles cases started to decrease in Punjab: Health Minister Punjab

Lahore: The department of primary and secondary health care Punjab on Sunday issued facts and figures regarding measles cases across the province.

The Provincial Minister for health Khawaja Imran Nazeer apprised that the measles cases of children have started to decrease.

As many as 219 suspected measles cases in children reported in the last 24 hours across the province.

The minister apprised that no death reported owing to the measles in the province in the last 24 hours.

Khawaja Imran Nazeer informed that as many as 13878 cases of measles have reported in the province in the current year till now.

In the last 24 hours, eight measles cases reported in Rawalpindi, 47 in Lahore, 19 in Multan, 11 in Jhang, the minister added.
