LAHORE: Female vocalist Meesha Shafi once again decided to take up the alleged harassment issue and filed a petition in Lahore High Court (LHC), AbbTakk news reported on Monday.
Meesha has contacted the court and challenged the Punjab Governor’s decision to reject her harassment plea against Ali Zafar.
LHC’s Justice Shahid Kareem heard on a plea filed by the counsels of the female singer. The court has issued notices to all parties to present their arguments.
The petitioner has pleaded the court that the Governor has rejected her plea by saying that the provincial ombudsman is not responsible to deal with such matters.
On the other hands, she told the court that the ombudsman can deal with matters pertaining to harassment on workplaces.
