TEHRAN: Prime Minister Imran Khan held discussion with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani at the presidential palace in Tehran where both exchanged views on bilateral relations and other significant affairs.
It is to be noted that Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari, Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Zaidi, Adviser on Commerce Abdul Razaq Dawood, Special Assistants Zulfi Bukhari, Zafarullah Mirza and Nadeem Babar are accompanying the Premier.
PM Imran Khan is due to meet Iran’s Supreme leader Syed Ali Khamnaye in Tehran today.
On Sunday, Prime Minister reached Mashhad, city of Iran for a two-day visit on the invitation of the Iranian president.
Upon his arrival, PM Imran Khan was warmly welcomed by Iranian Health Minister Dr Saeed Reza at Tehran International Airport. A smartly turned out contingent presented a static salute to the prime minister.
On this occasion, the entire spectrum of existing bilateral ties between Pakistan and Iran came under discussion.
The Premier also paid a visit to the shrine of Imam Reza (AS) and offered Dua and Nawafil.
He also held a meeting with Custodian of the Holy Shrine Ahmad Marvi besides visiting the Museum of Holy Quran situated in the premises of the Shrine.
