MOHMAND AGENCY: Three Levies personnel were martyred and two other were injured in a suicide attack at the main gate of Political Office Headquarter Ghanai here. According to ISPR security personnel nabbed one attacker at the gate while the second blew himself up.
According to details the security personnel stopped two suicide attackers trying to enter Political Office Headquarter at the gate on which one of them blew himself up while the second tried to barge into the premises but were shot and injured by the security forces and arrested.
The martyred personnel are being identified as Taj Alam, Yasir, Zar Syed while injured are Shah Rom and Shiraz. According to political administration security forces surrounded the area after the blast.
Meanwhile, ISPR has said that a terrorist bid was foiled in Mohmand agency today. Security agencies had the intelligence about intrusion of suicide bombers from Afghanistan inside Mohmand agency.
One suicide bomber, ISPR added, blew himself up once spotted and challenged by security agencies at the gate of PA office while other was shot by the sentries at the gate. Search of area is being carried out.
