ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf backed and Chief of Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party Mehmood Khan Achakzai met Fazlur Rehman, sought vote for presidency.
Mahmood Khan Achakzai, the candidate of the Sunni Union Council and head of the Pashtun-Khwa Milli Awami Party in the presidential election, sought the support of Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the Amir of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, Mahmood Khan Achakzai met Maulana Fazlur Rehman in Islamabad in which the political situation of the country was also discussed, Mahmood Khan Achakzai asked Maulana Fazlur Rahman for his vote for President.
Mehmood Achakzai said in a conversation with media with that they have an old relationship and they have spent time together in the movement, so we hope he will support us, the JUI chief said that he will inform after consulting the party leadership.
It should be noted that Asif Zardari from the government coalition and Mahmood Achakzai from the opposition will compete in the presidential elections in the national and provincial assemblies. Voting will be held in the country’s assemblies for the presidential election on March 9
