Islamabad: Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains with thunderstorm in Karachi today while it is likely that that westernly cool breeze will leave Pakistan Friday morning.
Chief Meteorologist, Sardar Sarfaraz predicting heavy rains with thunderstorm in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur , Larkana, said that it is likely that the weather will remain cloudy throughout the day.
As per the met department the intermittent showers will continue from today till Friday morning. However heavy rains are expected at night
Minimum temperature of 15 degree centigrade recorded while maximum temperature will likely to remain 24 degree centigrade in Karachi.
Sindh government has directed the provincial disaster management authority(PDMA) and district administration to remain alert and use every resources to tackle any emergency situation.
The provincial government also directed the PDMA to remain active for 24 hours and apprised that rains coming from Balochistan will continue for more days.
On the other hand the met department forecasting rains in the most parts of the country and predicted snowfall in the mountain areas, said that rains is also expected in Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujrat, Sialkot and Mandi Bahauddin.
The met department also predicted rains in Islamabad, Rawalpindi while downpour and snowfall also expected in Peshawar, Chitral, Mansehra, Abbotabad, Quetta, Zob, Ziarat, Gwadar.
