Karachi: Meteorological department predicting heavy rains on Tuesday September 9 has expressed fear of urban flooding in Karachi.
The Met department spokesman Anjum Nazeer apprised that a deep depression of the moonson current remained with it severity while this is a post stage of before creating of sea storm.
He said that this system of the moonson causes heavy downpours while this system will pass near the city which might result into torrential rains.
He warned that the situation in Karachi turn disturb tomorrow while he further added that owing to bad infrastructure in the city urban flooding is feared on the roads of the metropolis.
Low lying areas of the city could face water-logging in the heavy downpours, he added.
