Met dept predicts more rains owing to 2nd spell of monsoon from July 16 to 21

Islamabad: The meteorological department has predicted more rains from July 16 to 21.

According to the met department, July 16 to July 21 monsoon airs will enter the most parts of the country from the Arabian sea.

Heavy rains with thunderstorm associated with gusty winds will lash in Kashmir . From July 17 to July 21 rains likely to pour in the most of the districts of Punjab.

From July 17 to 19 heavy showers expected the most parts of Balochistan.

Rains likely to lash in the most districts of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from July 16 to July 21.

Heavy showers likely to pour in Gilgit-Baltistan in the most party of the areas while July 17 to July 19 rain inundation feared in pounds and nullahs of Kashmir, Muree and Galiyat.

Land sliding also feared owing to heavy rains from July 17 to July 19 in KP, Kashmir, Muree and Galiyat.

The met department has issued travel advisory that the people and tourists heading to upper areas should observe caution.

All the concerned department must be on alert in during the second spell of monsoon in the country, the met department said.
