ISLAMABAD: The Met Office has forecast more intermittent rain with snowfall over the hills in scattered places in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Malakand, Hazara, Lahore, Gujranwala divisions, upper FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during the next twelve hours.
The Office in its weather forecast says that the rain may trigger landslides in the vulnerable areas of Malakand, Hazara divisions, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
It said that mainly cold and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country during next 24 hours.
Temperature of some major cities recorded on Friday morning:
Islamabad and Lahore 10 degree centigrade, Karachi 12, Peshawar 8, Quetta minus two, Gilgit 4, Murree minus five and Muzaffarabad three degree centigrade.
