LAHORE: Residents of the provincial capital took a sigh of relief after metro bus service resumed after a hiatus of 11 days.
According to details, new operator Veda has taken over the Lahore Metro Bus service after the contract of Albayrak Group expired on August 31.
Seperate areas of men, women and people with disability have been made in the buses while disinfect system has also been placed in the buses for containing of coronavirus.
Special cameras have been installed for avoiding crimes in the buses.
Earlier in August, the service was suspended due to protest of employees including drivers over nonpayment of allowances.
