KARACHI: The war of words between Javed Miandad and Shahid Afridi seemed is going to settle as Miandad on Tuesday announced to ‘forgive’ Afridi.
Miandad said that Afridi’s statement hurt him but he prayed for him.
He said that being an elder he forgave Afridi.
The allegation and counter allegations between the two start cricketers was stirred by Miandad’s statement that Afirid want yo play farewell match for money.
Reacting to Miandad’s claims Afridi had said that money had always been an issue for Mianmdad. However, he had later regretted his comment.
