Islamabad (June 15, 2017): Islamabad police on Thursday stopped Federal Ministers, member of National Assembly and other Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders from going to Federal Judicial Academy on the occasion of PM’s appearance before the joint investigation team (JIT).
As the Prime Minister reached the Academy to appear before the JIT, some federal minister and PML-N lawmakers tried to go towards the academy. However, police stopped them at some distance from the Academy.

State Minister for Information Technology Anusha Rehman, State Minister for CAAD Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, MNA Danyal Aziz, MNA Talal Chaudhry, mother of Information Minister MNA Tahira Aurangzaib, MNA Wazir Muhammad and Deputy Mayor Islamabad Zeeshan Naqvi were not allowed to reach the Academy.
Earlier, strict security arrangements were made at FJA for appearance before the JIT. Rangers personnel have taken over the security duties around the Federal Judicial Academy.
The employees of the Academy were allowed to enter the building only after passing through walk-through gates installed at the entrance of the Academy.
On Thursday morning, Inspector General Police Islamabad Khalid Khattak visited FJA and reviewed security arrangements being made for the day. SSP Operation Islamabad Police Sajid Kyani also visited the Academy and reviewed security inside of the building.
