Misbah out from ICC Top Ten Test ranking

English Captain Alistair Cook has snatched third position from Misbah-ul-Haq, while Joe Root and Rangna Hirath secured second position in batting and bowling.

According to new Test ranking released by ICC, Australian Captain Steve Smith and Indian Off-spinner Ishwan maintained their top position. Besides, England player Joe Root snatched second position from Kiwi Captain Ken Williamson after securing century in Rajkot, while century-maker Moin Ali climbed six and Ben Stokes stepped up to eight positions and were ranked at 26th and 32nd positions respectively.

Meanwhile, Sri Lankan Rangna Hirath pushed back Dale Stein and James Anderson and snatched second position. On the other hand Pakistani Younis Khan succeeded to maintain fourth position, while Alistair Cook, after scoring his 30th century, pushed Misbah-ul-Haq to 11th position and secured his position among top ten. Pakistani Leg Spinner Yasir Shah stepped up and is enjoying fifth position in Test Ranking.
