Lahore: A cross questioning of two NAB witnesses in the money laundering case at an accountability court Lahore completed on Friday while a NAB witness admitted that the record he provided to the NAB not contain anything related to Nusrat Shahbaz.
The accountability court judge Naseem Ahmed Virk heard the reference, the opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) Shahbaz Sharif not appeared before the court owing to the coronavirus while his son, Hamza Shahbaz appeared before the court to mark his attendance.
During the course of hearing, the court cross examined the NAB witness a section officer of the CM house Punjab Chaudhry Shahid while he apprised the court that the salaries record of co-accused with Shahbaz Sharif in the case not provided to the NAB.
The NAB’s another witness, an officer of Security Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), Sidra Mansoor recorded her statement that she has provided the record of Al-arabia Sugar Mills including other companies to the graft-buster body.
The court ordering further appearence of witnesses on the next hearing adjourned the case till February 11.
Talking to media after hearing, the Opposition leader in Punjab Assembly (PA) Hamza Shahbaz suggested the media not to heed talks of Sheikh Rashid.
