LAHORE: An accountability court of Lahore on Wednesday has adjourned the hearing of money laundering case against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif and his family till January 12.
During the hearing, National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) witness Ibrahim recorded his statement.
The court also extended judicial remand of Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz Sharif for six days.
Meanwhile, the PML-N president reiterated that he had honestly protected the national exchequer. Filing reference after 13 years comes under dishonesty, he added.
Earlier, Director General of NAB Lahore had submitted a report in the court through investigation officer on freezing the properties of Shehbaz Sharif’s wife Nusrat Shahbaz, daughter Rabia Imran and others.
Shehbaz Sharif told that there was no doctor dealing with cancer patients present in the government panel,therefore, he requested the court to include his personal doctor in the board.
