Modi’s water war backfired: China stops Brahmaputra’s water

Days after Modi’s announcement to declare water war on Pakistan,  China reportedly stopped water flow of River Brahmaputra into India, which will affect water supply to five large states of India.

Indian media reported that China stopped flow of Brahmaputra river for construction of a major hydro power project in Tibet.
