LANDI KOTAL: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Landi Kotal to condole with the family of Shaheed Captain Abbas, who embraced martyrdom while performing his official duties.
During the visit, the Interior Minister offered Fateha for the departed soul and met Captain Abbas’s father and brothers, conveying deep condolences and honoring the fallen officer’s sacrifice for the nation.
Mohsin Naqvi assured the bereaved family that the government stands shoulder to shoulder with the families of martyrs and will extend all possible support. He praised the family’s strength, stating that the resilience and courage shown by fathers like Captain Abbas’s inspire the entire nation and deserve the highest respect.
Captain Abbas’s father, speaking on the occasion, expressed immense pride in his son’s martyrdom, saying that every son of the soil is prepared to serve the country and that the family holds their son’s sacrifice in great honor.
The Interior Minister also held a meeting with local tribal elders and community leaders, who reiterated their full backing for the armed forces. They expressed their determination to follow the path of Captain Abbas and affirmed their willingness to render any sacrifice for the protection of the country.
The elders emphasized that they would never allow any threat to undermine the country’s sovereignty or security.
The visit was attended by the Inspector General of Frontier Corps, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (North), among other officials.
