LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has reportedly received an invitation to attend the IPL final. Sources indicate that Mohsin Naqvi has been sent the invite and is now preparing to forward it to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
According to reports, the final decision on whether Mohsin Naqvi will travel to India will be made by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The IPL final is scheduled to take place on May 31 in Ahmedabad, India.
Meanwhile, cricket website sources reveal that the International Cricket Council (ICC) will hold its meetings in two phases this month. The ICC Chief Executive Committee’s virtual meeting is scheduled for May 21, while the ICC Board meeting will take place on May 30 and 31 in Ahmedabad, India.
It is noteworthy that the ICC Board meeting coincides with the IPL final, and PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi is expected to participate in the session. However, according to the cricket website, given the current circumstances, it is uncertain whether Mohsin Naqvi will attend the ICC meeting in Ahmedabad.
