LAHORE: Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi conducted an inspection of the preparations for the upcoming grand opening ceremony at the newly renovated Gaddafi Stadium. He urged officials to make sure that the event is nothing short of spectacular, aligning with the stadium’s recent enhancements.
He credited the entire team for completing the stadium’s reconstruction in record time, calling it a proud moment for Pakistan.
Newly renovated Gaddafi Stadium has emerged as one of the most stunning and world-class cricket venues, completed in record time. “I am grateful to Allah for fulfilling the promise made to the nation,” said Mohsin Naqvi
Naqvi assured, both cricket fans and players would enjoy the state-of-the-art facilities provided in the stadium.
He expressed his sincere gratitude to the workers, FWO, NESPAK, contractors, and PCB officials for their unwavering dedication and hard work in turning this vision into reality.
Opening ceremony, to be attended by Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, will be free for the public from 5.30 pm, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.
Renowned artists Ali Zafar, Arif Lohar, and Aima Baig will light up the stage with their captivating performances, culminating in a spectacular display of drums and fireworks.
