LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Thursday summoned Opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz and Ayesha Ahad in money laundering and Assets beyond means cases on April 30.
According to details, NAB Lahore has directed Hamza to appear at 3:00 PM while Ayesha Ahad has been asked to appear before anti-graft watchdog at 12:00 PM.
NAB Lahore Bureau has also asked Hamza to bring all necessary documents while appearing before NAB.
Earlier today, Lahore High Court (LHC) extended the pre-arrest bail of opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz till May 8.
A two-member bench of the LHC headed by Justice Malik Shehzad heard the case pertaining to the three bail pleas of Hamza Shehbaz.
The Hamza’s counsel Salman Akram Butt told the court that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) hasn’t shown the reasons for arrest so the discussions are baseless.
