Peshawar: A number of cases of chicken pox climbed to three , director public health Khyber Pakhtunkwa, (KP) Irshad Rohani said.
Irshad Roghani apprised that all the cases have come to the country from United Arab Emirates (UAE).
No any cases reported in the country, he furthered.
He informed that all entry points including airports have been directed strictly overseeing the virus while all the suspected foreigners are being diagnosed with the virus.
According to the Director Public Health KP has apprised that a person belonged to Mardan has come from United Arab Emirates (UAE) carrying the virus.
He apprised that for further confirmation of the virus a sample of the virus has been sent to National Institute of Health (NIH).
The affected person from the monkey pox has tiny symptoms of the virus while a contact tracing of the person has also been continued.
He informed that more people samples are being taken.
He informed further that isolation wards are also being established for the virus. He said that the World Health Organization (WHO) has declared emergency for the virus.
The Ministry of health has directed the all provinces to depute a focal person on the monkey pox . Whereas the border health services have been directed strict monitoring of the virus at all the points of entry in the entry.
