Lahore: Second spell of monsoon has given a full-fledged entry in the most parts of the country as heavy rains lashed in cities of Punjab including Lahore.
Heavy showers poured in Kalar Kahar, Chakwal, Hafizabad, Wazirabad, Gujrat. The lashing of rains broke sizzling heat and sultriness.
On the other hand, heavy stormy downpours played havoc in Khyber PakhtunKhwa (KP) as a roof of a house collapsed killing two persons and injuring 10 others including a woman in Charsaddah.
Chief Minister KP Ali Ameen Gandpur has expressed sorrow over the incident while he said “We equally share sorrow of bereaved family.”
