Islamabad: The third wave of coronavirus turning out be more dangerous as more 135 were killed due to virus in the last 24 hours while new 4, 681 were reported as well across the country.
The last 24 hours appeared to be the most deadly as the highest number of deaths reported in a day. In these 135 deaths, 45 patients could not be recovered on ventilators after which total number of deaths from the lethal virus throughout the country is reached 15, 754. While the death rate reported 2. 1 percent.
As per the statistics of the National Command and Operation Center as many as 48, 092 tests were conducted out of which 4, 681 reported positive. The rate of positive cases is 9.73 percent while total number of cases since the start of virus have reached 7, 34, 423. 4, 216 cases are in critical condition.
NCOC Measures For Holly Month of Ramzan
The NCOC has issued SOPs for coroanvirus during the holly month of Ramzan under which banned is imposed on social, political, sports including all the ceremonies. The markets will open from Sehri to 6 pm evening. During the lock down unnecessary movement will be banned except in emergency cases.
Pakistan railways has been directed to operate more additional trains to avoid crowd and rush while inter-provincial trains will be banned for two days during the week.
For the more measures the NCOC meeting will be held on April 20.
As per the NCOC, cinema houses and tombs will be closed completely. As much as possible Tarawih prayers must be offered at open place. 50 percent work from home policy will be adopted in the private and government offices.
