PESHAWAR: On the information of presence of high profile terrorism, high value target Surat Gul nick name Saifullah was killed during the operation by Pak Army.
According to the Inter Services Public Relation ( ISPR), on February 11, 2024, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Khyber district, following information about the presence of a high-profile terrorist. During the operation, after a fierce exchange of fire, Daesh terrorist ring leader Surat Gul nick named Saifullah was killed. Arms, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the slain terrorist commander, He was active in several terrorist activities including target killing of civilians as well as extortion and was highly wanted by law enforcement agencies. A sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area. The local people of the area appreciated the operation and assured their full cooperation to end the menace of terrorism
