Karachi (August 21, 2017):Muttahida Qaumi Movement–Pakistan’s (MQM-P) delegations on Monday met Pak Sarzeem Party (PSP), Pakistan People’s Party (PPP)and MQM-Haqiqi leadership and invited them to attend the all parties conference the party is organizing tomorrow.
The delegation led by Amir Khan and comprising Faisal Sabzwari, Kamran Tissori and others went the headquarters of PSP met its leadership.

The delegation formally invited PSP leadership to the APC being convened by MQM tomorrow.
The APC has been convened for August 22, which marks a year’s passing since MQM founder’s controversial anti-state comments in a speech at Karachi Press Club. Following the incident and subsequent violence, the party disassociated itself from its founder to create its own faction with senior leader Dr Farooq Sattar as its leader.
The PSP, formed last year and comprising several former MQM leaders, has agreed ‘in principle’ to attend the conference.
PSP leader Anis Advocate while talking to media after meeting the MQM delegation said that principally they had decided to attend the APC tomorrow.
He said that they hoped the MQM-P will hold a clear stance against the traitor of the country tomorrow.
In a reference to the London-based MQM founder, the PSP representative further said that the province and metropolis will only progress when every individual and political party disassociates from the Ghadar-e-Watan [traitor of the country].
Speaking on the occasion, MQM-P leader Amir Khan reiterated their complete disassociation from the party’s London faction.
Khan said that in the conference, the political leadership of the country will focus on the issues related to local bodies and corruption in the provincial departments.
He added that the party has also invited the local leadership of Pakistan Peoples’ Party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Awami National Party.
Meanwhile, MQM’s Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui met with PPP’s Nisar Khuhro to invite him to the multi-party moot.

Khuhro said, “we will get back to the MQM-P leadership on their invitation request after due consultation within the party in 24 hours”.
Siddqiui, in response to a question, said that other than MQM-P, no party has disassociated itself from its leadership for the sanctity of the country.
Later, the MQM-P delegation led by senior party leader Amir Khan met MQM-Haqiqi Chairman Afaq Ahmed at his residence and extended formal invitation to attend the APC.
