KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) self-exiled leader Saleem Shahzad on Sunday announced to return to Pakistan.
Saleem made the announcement through a message on social media site Twitter. Shehzad said that he would be in Pakistan within next 48 hiours.
A leading figure in the MQM ranks, Saleem Shehzad was suspended in 2014 by MQM, warning to all its members not to contact him.
Since then he was not active in politics. Last year, when MQM Pakistan announced to distance itself from MQM founder Altaf Hussain, Shehzad had announced to return to Pakistan to strengthen Sattar-led MQM Pakistan.
