Karachi: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday held a meeting with the senior leadership of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in Karachi, focusing on the evolving political situation.

During the meeting, the MQM leadership assured full support to the prime minister.
The meeting focused on the overall political situation in the country.
On the other hand, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has termed Prime Minister’s meeting with MQM leadership in Karachi as very fruitful.
In a statement issued in Karachi today [Wednesday], he said that both parties discussed political issues in detail and finalized a workable strategy for the future.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said MQM is our allied party and both parties have been supporting each other.
He said that MQM leadership expressed their full confidence in the Prime Minister. He said they neither made any demand nor complained about anything.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the MQM leadership assured us of their full support and PTI is thankful for the hospitality and support they granted to us.
