Karachi: Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori expressed hope that the suggestions and proposals of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) on this year budget 2024-2025 will be followed.
Addressing a presser after meeting a delegation of the MQM-P at governor house on Friday today, Kamran Tessori said that the storm of inflation is in the people home which need to be decreased.
The Governor Sindh said that all have to joined together for steering out the country from the finanical crisis.
Kamran Tessori said that Karachi is the economic hub of the country adding that the MQM-P has the almost 80 percent mandate of Karachi, 100 percent of Hyderabad.
He said that 80 percent solution of Karachi miseries lie under the recommendations of the MQM-P.
Earlier, the MQM-P leaders and Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori held conversations over the budget suggestions and proposals.
The MQM-P leaders demanded to bring major feudal lords and land lords in to the tax net instead of burdening the common man with tax load.
Syed Mustafa Kamal, MNA from Karachi and former mayor said that the country’s problems solution is not the International Monetary Fund (IMF) or World Bank but it is karachi.
He said that Karachi has status of steering out the country from the economic crisis.
Dr Farooq Sattar said that avoid the burdening the common man with taxes instead major feudal lords and land lords should be bring into the tax net.
