Karachi: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) has demanded end of quota system from Sindh.
Holding a presser on Monday, today, the MQM-P chief Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddique said that the Sindh High Court (SHC) has given a major verdict, as many as 56,000 jobs were distributed while the court voiced stop.
The MQM-P chief said that Karachiites had left applying for jobs.
He demanded that from grade 1 to grade 15 jobs should be given to local people.
Addressing at the occassion, Dr Farooq Sattar said that Sindh was stopped reaching threshold of development through the quoata system.
He said that government jobs were closed for Karachi, Hyderabad and Sukkur.
He added that Karachi, Hyderabad and Sukkur didn’t get more than 80 percent admission and jobs.
