Karachi: Senior leader of the Muttahida Quami Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) Dr Farooq Sattar on Sunday demanded immediate release the Chief of Mohajir Quami Movement Haqiqi) Afaq Ahmed.
Addressing a presser at Bahadarabad headquarter, former mayor Dr Farooq Sattar said that deliberately relaxation is being given to the dumper mafia so that provocation could spread in the city.
Dr Farooq Sattar said that people were in anger while he said that if Afaq Ahmed were not to give such statement despite that it would have been happened.
He clarified that the matter will not resoved with the arrest of Afaq Ahmed adding the provincial has to take strict and stern against the dumper mafia
He said that people have been left on the mercy of the dumper mafia. He added that if people were not given relief then situation like 1985 can be created again.
He said that as many as 100 citizens have compromised in the hands of the dumper mafia and the Sindh governmnt has become silent expectator.
Criticising the Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, Dr Farooq Sattar said that the CM didn’t issue any single statement against the dumper mafia.
He said that this attitude is open relaxation to the dumper and tanker mafias adding there is no protection to assets and life of the citizens.
He questioned that if Rangers are present in the city then why are they not calling on these accidents?
He strongly condemned arrest of MQM-H Chief Afaq Ahmed and demanded his immediate release.
He said that if people problems were not solved then the strong reaction will be given.
