MQM-P Didn’t Hear Our Warning Yesterday: Saeed Ghani

Karachi: Sindh’s Information Minister Saeed Ghani has said that we had told to Muttahida Quami Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) yesterday not to enter red-zone as security is beefed up owing to Pakistan Super League seventh edition but they didn’t hear our warning.

In a presser today, Saeed Ghani said that foreign guests had arrived yesterday who had their movement to National Stadium Karachi. He said that the PSL teams are staying in hotels exist in the red-zones.

Saeed Ghani said that what all happened yesterday should not be happened adding that the MQM-P rally reached hotel metropole at 4. o’clock in evening .He said that one person in the rally were baton charging the police along with his accomplices and an action were taken out of wish.

He said that if action was not taken than dangerous repercussion would have been happened.

The information minister said that we said to the MQM-P that PSL teams are staying in the hotels despite that the MQM-P workers move ahead by pushing the police.

He said that an impression is wrong that one MPA was dragged by the police.

Defending the police, he said that the police tried to stop the crowd and convince them. He said that no anyone died owing to the violence yesterday incident.

He demanded to allow a postmortem of the deceased Aslam Khan so that facts could be surfaced.
