MQM-P gears up for another congregation in Liaqutabad

Karachi: The Muttahida Quami Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) has all set to do another congregation in Liaqutabad to show of its powers in Karachi on October 29

The MQMP has speed up preparations for the congregations while it will be only for people of Liaqutabad.

The party before this political gathering has organized congregations in Malir Town and Orangi Town.

It has announced to hold 29 congregations in Karachi for the coming general elections.

The MQM-P social media team have geared up a full campaign on social media to make this congregation successful.

Besides establishment of camps in Liaqutabad, banners have also been fixed in streets, roundabouts and roads of the area.

Pamphlets are also being distributed among the residents of Liaqutabad.

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), the party which ruled the province for 15 years, has been strictly criticized in the MQM-P pamphlets.

Sentences are written on the pamphlets, like woes of Karachi, lack of water, sanitation, electricity, gas, end of street crimes and other issues of Karachi can be solved by the MQM-P only.

A general workers meeting of the party was also held in this connection yesterday in which the central and local leaders of the party addressed the gathering.

At the occasion, the party convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddique said that Karachi is our last resort adding that people of Liaqutabad should have powers for running its area.

He also said that the October 29 congregation will write history of passion and intellect of people of Liaqutabad.

Senior Deputy Convener Syed Mustafa Kamal said that the party has chosen its fort of Liaqutabad to show its power.
