KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) will take out rally today against corruption, bad governance and biased attitude of the Sindh government.
The MQM-P has finalized all arrangements for the rally and camps have been set up in different areas. The rally rally would start from Liaquatabad No. 10 and would culminate at Mazar-i-Quaid.
MQM-P chief Farooq Sattar and other senior leaders of the party would address the rally. MQM-P has been severely criticizing PPP’s Sindh government for its failure to address issue of people of the province especially urban Sindh.
“The Sindh government has been ruling the province [through] bad governance for the last eight years while creating sense of deprivation and discrimination among the people of this province,” said MQM-P leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqi. “The rally would show the sentiments of this city to the rulers who have violated every norm of democracy. They have lost moral authority to stay in power,” Siddiqi added.
