Karachi: The Muttahida Quami Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) Senior Deputy Convener Dr Farooq Sattar has said that who has a dream to become premier his land in Larkana feeling the ground slipping under his feet.
Addressing an election gathering for provincial assembly seats PS 110 and PS 111 in Shah Rasool Colony in Karachi, Dr Farooq Sattar said that K-4 project has been dumped in a garbage for the last 15 years.
The Senior Deputy Convener said that now is the time to stop ruining the city as Karachi runs Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta and Nawabshah run.
He said that this is not an election instead it is a referendum in which the MQM-P candidates will win the elections with heavy mandate.
Former mayor Karachi said that we will complete K-4 project like K-2 and K-3. He said that we will send back robbers of Kacha areas to their home towns.
He said that it was the MQM-P efforts that we added 7.5 million population of Karachi in the census.
It was also the MQM-P struggle it added one National Assembly and three provincial assembly seats in Karachi, he apprised.
He along with Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddique, Syed Mustafa Kamal united the scattered MQM-P.
Former Federal Minister said that the whole of Gujjar community of the area are standing with the MQM-P adding that now Gujjar community has become part of the MQMP.
He apprised that we don’t have any union council in Shah Rasool Colony now every vote of the community will go to the MQMP as Amjad Gujjar, who was candidate, on PS-110 has announced support to the MQM-P and we have candidate from the community Shariq Naseem on PS-111.
He said that the MQMP will get more votes besides traditional votes. He said that we will get success this time never before as all community members live in the city.
He ensured resident of Shah Rasool Colony to solve their roads, sewerage and water issues.
