MQMP rejects claims of CM Sindh regarding development in Sindh

Karachi: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) stalwart Syed Mustafa Kamal has catogrically rejected all the claims of Chief Minister SIndh Syed Murad Ali Shah regarding developmnet in Sindh.

Addressing a presser at the Pakistan house with other leaders of the party, ex-mayor Syed Mustafa Kamal said that the PPP has done nothing in Sindh in its 15 years reign.

The MQMP leader said that the Sindh government admitted it had spent Rs 18,000 billion in the province in the last 15 years.

Syed Mustafa Kamal said that in such a huge amount Sindh can be developed for 50 times adding that there is total destruction from Karachi to Kashmore.

People said that as Punjab start we know about differences of the road, he said.

He apprised that as many as 7.6 million children are unable to go school in the province today while the CM said that Rs 3200 billion had been spent on the education.

He added that these children could not be gone to school on which the Sindh government spent a whopping total of 3200 billion.

He said that there are 48 thousands of schools existed in the province while the Sindh government has a report out of which 11,000 are ghost schools.

Former mayor said that Sindh government spent a huge sum of 1700 billion on health while he said that if we left Dr Adeeb Rizvi and Dr Bari then we knew the dilapidated situation of the hospitals.

He said that the city like Karachi is yearning for a drop of water adding that water theft committer became millionaire.

Every where in Karachi sewerage main hole are opened even vaccine for dog bite not available in Karachi, he angered.

Karachi water is being sold while making the hydrants on water pipelines, he said.

He said that Karachi earned 99 percent of revenue for Sindh. He criticised that only Rs 33 billion are allocated in the Sindh budget.

He lambasted on the Sindh government over allocated budget for local bodies as Sindh allocated only five percent for it while Punjab allocated 15 percent, KP 17.5 percent for local bodies.
