Karachi: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Muftah Ismael has demanded the government to take back from increase in the power prices.
The former finance minister said that we had left the circular debt at Rs 1036 billion now it has crossed to Rs 2400 billion.
He said that after every month 50 to 60 billion rupees of circular debt are increasing adding that the government did nothing except held responsible PML-N for everything.
Muftah Ismel questioned that if the government has additional capacity to generate electricity then why it is istalling new plants?
He said that import of furnace oil costing the national exchequer too much and the government should stop oppression in this regard.
